The latest IMAX theater opened last week in SM Megamall's new Mega Fashion Hall in Building D. This will be the 8th IMAX theatre in the Philippines.
There are currently eight IMAX screens in the Philippines, all of them are in SM Cinemas. The theater/cinema features exclusively IMAX-made films like "IMAX Space Station 3D," and "IMAX Under Sea 3D" as well as Hollywood movies like "47 Ronin" and "Robocop".
The theater boasts up to 472 seats capacity with provisions for persons with disability.
